Tamara has focused on clinical excellence and compassion, as a Pelvic health and continence physiotherapist for 20 years and tutored at Melbourne University, on the Post Grad continence/ pelvic floor rehabilitation course, since 2010. Tamara has a keen interest in treating women with vulvodynia and men and women with chronic pelvic pain. Tamara works closely with many Urological surgeons, Urogynaecologists, Gynaecologists & Colorectal surgeons, with a strong philosophy of multi-disciplinary care. She also maintains an interest in general sports and spinal physiotherapy and dance therapy. Tamara has experience in many private clinics and currently works as a Senior Clinician at The Royal Women’s Hospital as physio specialist for the Vulval Disorders Clinic Continence Assessment Clinic, & Obstetric Outpatient clinic. Previous appointments include Mercy Hospital for Women, Frances Perry House, St Vincent’s, Cabrini, Freemasons, North Park Hospital and locums at Peter James and Austin Continence Clinics.
In the sports arena Tamara has treated patients participating in Little Athletics, swimming and Basketball clubs. In 2014 Tamara travelled with an Aus Aid Urology Team coordinated by the College of Surgeons, to the Solomon Islands, to help establish a Continence Clinic there.
Tamara graduated in 1992 and tutored at Trinity College Melbourne University, until 1997, while working as the Senior ICU/Cardiac Surgery Physiotherapist at The Royal Children’s Hospital. Tamara then worked in private practice Collins St and with the Australian Ballet School as well as sessions in community health in Lygon Street, Carlton, before completing the Post Graduate Diploma Pelvic Floor & Continence Physiotherapy (Melbourne University) in 2000. Tamara is on staff at the Royal Women’s Hospital as a Senior Clinician, as well as private practice in Kew & Heidelberg.

Urologist
Dr Angus Lecuona holds dual fellowship with the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons (RACS) and the College of Urologists (South Africa). He is trained in all aspects of urology and has special interest in uro-oncology (including pelvic oncology and laparoscopic renal oncology), reconstructive surgery (urethroplasty), BPH and minimal invasive stone surgery.
Angus completed his specialty urology training at Tygerberg Academic Hospital (Cape Town) with high volume experience in uro-oncology, renal transplant and trauma surgery, urethroplasty and minimal invasive stone surgery. He worked as consultant urologist and senior lecturer at Tygerberg Hospital/Stellenbosch University and as a private urologist in Cape Town. He has undertaken a further 2 years of post-fellowship training in Australia and has been a consultant urologist at Eastern Health since 2017.
Angus is a member of the Urological Society of Australia and New Zealand (USANZ), South African Urology Association (SAUA), American Urology Association (AUA) and the International Society of Urologists (SIU).
He consults from Heidelberg, Bundoora, Box Hill North and operates at Warringal Private Hospital, Epworth Eastern, Mitchem Private, Northpark Private, Box Hill and Maroondah Hospitals.
Angus offers comprehensive urological care including all general urology conditions (incl BPH, stones, voiding dysfunction) and has special interest in Uro-Oncology (incl pelvic oncology and laparoscopic renal surgery) and reconstructive surgery (urethroplasty).
Endocrinologist
Dr Jasmine Zhu is an endocrinologist with extensive clinical experience in all areas of endocrinology, including osteoporosis, diabetes and weight management. She graduated from the University of Melbourne and completed her specialist training at St Vincent’s Hospital.
Dr Zhu has presented research at international conferences, published in numerous journals, and was a recipient of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians (RACP) Trainee Research Award. She has served on the RACP Endocrinology Advanced Training Committee and continues to teach and examine at the University of Melbourne Medical School. She is a member of the US Endocrine Society and Endocrine Society of Australia, and is undertaking research commissioned by the Australian Diabetes Society to inform national guidelines.
Dr Zhu combines cutting edge medicine with a personalised approach. She draws upon her broad experiences to educate and empower patients to make informed decisions, and advocate for their best interests.
