What are Multi-disciplinary meetings and do we have them?

At North Eastern Urology fortnightly Multi- disciplinary meetings are conducted in our meeting room, with access to patient clinical history, pathology and radiology results. Our experienced Urologists and multi-disciplinary team including Medical Oncologists, Radiation Oncologists, Radiologist, Nurse and other external Urologists collectively work through the best patient treatment and dedicated management strategies available.

In North Eastern Urology’s association with Austin Health and the Olivia Newton John Cancer Centre, we ensure that all our patients have access to the latest therapies and clinical trials being run as well as the collective opinion of a team of specialists dedicated to the management of prostate cancer.

Forming part of the clinical management team North Eastern Urology also has an Endocrinologist and Pelvic floor Physiotherapist who assist with the care required for Prostate Cancer patients.
